WELCOME to our newly designed website.
This site is dedicated to the promotion and preservation of historical Baptist doctrines, especially the doctrine of salvation. Our ministry was established to counter the 'decisional regeneration' or 'easy believism' evangelistic practices of our day which is giving multitudes in our Baptist churches a false sense of security by making salvation a mere decision of the will of the individual, and which comes through praying 'the sinner's prayer' or any other such act of the flesh. We are also dedicated to opposing the 'demographically targeted evangelism' of the 'Mega-churches' which concentrate their efforts on bringing in the 'young, upwardly mobile' segment of the population in particular. We will be de-bugging the site and adding more content regularly. Thanks for visiting!

Church Leader Dislikes Title 'Pastor.'

The leader of the former Temple Baptist Church of Detroit, Michigan, now NorthRidge Church, has a distaste for the Bible term Pastor according to their website. He prefers to go simply by 'Brad.' He also has done away with the 'Baptist' indentifier as well. The church has become one of the largest churches in the Detroit metropolitan area.

Going the way of many, if not most, of the modern mega-church leaders he has also eliminated the Sunday evening and Wednesday evening church services.
